Unprofessional conduct
This review concerns property settlement for a lady in her late 80s who is relying on the funds. Four weeks after receiving notification of the settlement date, McClure Law wrote to me requesting instructions. Confused about the process (because I thought I had already done this), I rang them the following day. The receptionist was surly and condescending, and I asked for someone to call me back.
One week later, someone calls me to explain the situation and what I need to do. That same day, eight days before settlement, they request me to complete documentation.
This request not made in their initial letter to me, nor was it communicated to me in our two previous phone discussions.
No-one took responsibility for four weeks of no action, and no-one took responsibility for not communicating their instructions on time.
They use cookie-cutter letters with grammatical errors.
No-one signs their letters (except the receptionist) to take ownership of the task and act as a contact point for clients.
They are evasive and not customer-centric at all.
